Dear Elmira High School Families,
After carefully monitoring the forecast, we have made the decision to move Elmira High School’s Graduation Ceremony to Wednesday June 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. due to the impending weather.
The location and timeframes remain unchanged.
We know graduation is a special day for our students and their families, and we understand that many people have made plans around this event. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it gives us the best opportunity to celebrate our graduates in a safe and enjoyable setting.
We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to recognizing the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 and celebrating this important milestone together on Wednesday evening.

Today, Beecher Elementary welcomed families for Grilling with Grownups, a special Father's Day celebration organized by 3rd grade teachers, Mrs. Sanchez and Mrs. Wheeler.
From the moment they arrived, guests were warmly greeted and escorted in by Beecher's outstanding Student Council members, helping make everyone feel right at home. It was a wonderful opportunity for students and their grownups to share a meal, make memories, and celebrate the important people in their lives.

🏃🏾♀️Congratulations to our Elmira Express student-athletes who represented our district at the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships last weekend at Webster Schroeder High School!
🌟 Serenity Rollins placed 15th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.68.
🌟 Selena Rollins finished 20th in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 26.66.
🌟 Our 4x100 relay team of Anais Dailey, Arrianna Jones, Selena Rollins, and Serenity Rollins earned a 16th-place finish with a time of 50.17.
Competing at the state championships is an incredible accomplishment, and we are so proud of these athletes for representing Elmira with determination, talent, and sportsmanship.

A huge THANK YOU to the Professional Business Financial Development (PBFD) BOCES Career & Technical Education Program juniors for their incredible generosity!
Through a special project in collaboration with United Way of the Southern Tier, students spent four weeks collecting 1,206 hygiene items from our community, which were donated to Ernie Davis Academy.
EDA Student Council representatives proudly accepted the donation on behalf of the school, recognizing the impact these essential items will have on students and families in our community.
We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and compassion shown by these young leaders. Thank you for demonstrating the power of service, partnership, and giving back!

Broadway Academy was buzzing with excitement during our Career & College Day!
More than 500 students in grades 4-9 had the opportunity to explore future possibilities as they interacted with 53 career, college, and community partners from across the region. Students asked questions, discovered new career pathways, and learned firsthand about the skills and education needed for a variety of professions.
Events like Career & College Day help students connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities and encourage them to start thinking about their future goals. Thank you to all of our vendors, volunteers, and staff who made this incredible day possible!
