Donations collected by the United Way were recently dropped off to the nurses office at Broadway Academy.
"The need is great for hygiene items for our students. We provide hygiene items, like toothbrushes, deodorant, and more to around 5-7 students every day. From women's health items to dental care, often students depend on the supplies available in the school nurses office during the school day.
We are so grateful to the work of the United Way and the many organizations that flow into their work across our region," says Kim Greeno, School Nurse at the Elmira City School District.
