Congratulations Mr. Peter Manuelpillai on earning the WETM Golden Apple Award for the month of January! Mr. Manuelpillai is a chemistry teacher at Elmira High School and enjoys teaching and stimulating young minds.
We have been lucky to have Mr. Manuelpillai in our District for 20 years and many students benefit from his worldly approach to teaching.
"I began my career in Sri Lanka and in the Middle East and ended up in Elmira. I talk to my students about the world and my own experiences in education -- hopefully instilling a lifelong love for learning," says Mr. Manuelpillai.
