Retiree Information

Excellus Blue PPO Signature Co-Pay Plan subscribers update effective 7/1/2021:

In compliance with the New York State Department of Finance minimum standards for health insurance identification cards, Excellus will be issuing new cards to all subscribers and each covered dependent on the policy prior to July 30, 2021.
Your current member ID # will not change. Each dependent will be issued a card which will include the subscribers name, member ID # and the dependents name. Subscribers will not need to carry each dependents card as providers will still be able to verify all dependent coverage using only the subscribers ID card.

Please contact Excellus directly at 877-253-4797 for questions regarding the new ID cards.

Notice from Excellus: As of September 1, 2020, Kroger, Albertson’s and Publix pharmacies are no longer part of the Excellus BlueCross BlueShield network. Express Scripts (ESI), our pharmacy benefit manager, is working hard to help reduce overall costs for members by removing higher-cost pharmacies from the network. This was not an easy decision to make, but in the end, our goal is to provide the most cost-effective options possible for our members.

Retirees joining the MVP Health Care Advantage plan's on 1/1/2021 should have received your new insurance cards. If not, please contact MVP directly at 1-800-665-7924.

Medicare B premium reimbursements for July - December 2020 will be mailed out on or around December 23, 2020.
