Board Policies

The Elmira City School District Board of Education utilizes BoardDocs -- an online, paperless solution for all school board materials including policies. BoardDocs enables the Elmira City School District Board of Education to distribute information quickly and efficiently with greater transparency.

The Policy Library is a set of guidelines consistent with all applicable federal and state regulations. The policy development process is on-going. New and revised policies will be uploaded to the site upon board approval.

Follow the steps below to access Board Policies within the BoardDocs system:

1. Click on BoardDocs link (new browser window will open)

2. Find the POLICIES tab at the top right menu

3. Within POLICIES tab, find a glossary of policies organized in the following order: 

          1000 - By-Laws
          2000 - Internal Operations
          3000 - Community Relations
          4000 - Administration
          5000 - Non-Instructional and Business Operations
          6000 - Personnel
          7000 - Students
          8000 - Instruction

4.  Expand each policy category by clicking + to view each policy listed.
