In honor of School Board Recognition week, we are highlighting the 2025-2026 Student Board Representative, Lexie Ervin, who joined the board this year and will serve a one-year term during her senior year at Elmira High School.
Lexie brings extensive leadership to her position as the Class of 2026 Secretary, a member of the Youth Activation Committee (YAC), National Honor Society information coordinator, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) member, the Academy of Finance member, and a varsity athlete on the Express Cheerleading fall and winter teams. Lexie is also an enrolled student at the GST BOCES Cosmetology career and technical education program.
“My biggest motivations for success academically, personally and physically are my family, friends and teachers. I would like to thank Mrs. Hillary Austin, Superintendent of Schools, and the Elmira Board of Education, for the incredible opportunity to serve as a student board representative,” said Ervin.
