Fostering A Love for the LibraryLibraries offer the resources and the environment that foster positive intellectual, emotional and social development of tomorrow's adults.

Our partners at the Chemung County Library District are sharing their resources to Ernie Davis Academy 7th and 8th graders this week. From 3D printing to a digital media lab, the Teen Space at Steele Library is created just for students in grades 7-12.

Doris Jean Metzger is visiting classrooms at EDA this week to talk more about the Tinkerlab and Makerspace. Students are completing applications for their very own library card, which provides access to these great age-appropriate spaces + the opportunity to borrow up to 3 items at a time.

Soon, the EDA library catalog will integrate with the public library's audiobook and e-book collection! Students will spend time in their school library with their new public library cards, learning to link the two collections together.
