Express Varsity Football Section IV Champs!
The Express won the Section IV Class AA Championship with a 31-14 win at Corning Friday night. Elmira (5-5) now advances to the New York State Class AA Regional Final against the winner of Syracuse CBA (10-0) or Cicero-North Syracuse (9-1). Those two teams will play for the Section III Championship. Elmira (5-5) will face the Section 3 champion in a regional final/state quarterfinal at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 at Vestal High School.
