While these past several months have been challenging for all of us, I admire the perseverance that our students, staff and families have demonstrated.
On the toughest of days I have reflected on the smiles that brightened my day and the successes we have celebrated. School is important, but so is your health. Take care of yourself and each other (from a safe distance of course). Be proud of yourself, your resilience and your ability to adapt to extreme circumstances. As Ernie Davis Academy closes its doors as an 8/9 building, I want to thank each and every staff, student and community member I have encountered for the relationships that have been built, challenges that made us grow, and above all the successes we have experienced and celebrated!
