Per the guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health, parents and guardians of hybrid students enrolled in the Elmira City School District will receive a daily home health screen by email each school morning that the student will attend in-person.
This health screen will be sent by email to parent addresses we have on file. Parents will receive a unique email, with a unique pin for login, per child enrolled in the Elmira City School District. The GST BOCES COVID SCREENING will be sent from
[email protected]. Please be sure to check your SPAM/Junk email folders if you don’t see a message from this address in your Inbox. The email will be delivered by 5:30 a.m. If you do not receive an automated email, please call your child’s home school.
This daily home health screen, completed at home by a parent/guardian, is the first proactive attempt to a healthy school environment. The health screen will include a temperature check and will ask questions regarding symptoms and potential exposure to COVID-19.
Cohort A families should expect to receive the first GST BOCES COVID SCREENING on the morning of Thursday, September 10, 2020. Cohort B families should expect to receive the first GST BOCES COVID SCREENING on Friday September 11, 2020. Beginning Monday, September 14, the regular hybrid cohort schedule will resume.
