Bell-to-Bell Device Ban NYS Law - New in 2025
New in 2025: Governor Hochul's “Bell-to-Bell” cell phone and personal internet enabled devices ban is
New York State law. All school districts are required to follow the requirements of
this new legislation beginning this fall. We appreciate your understanding and
continued good grace as well as your ongoing partnership in the safe,

Required Immunizations and Vaccinations

School Supplies
All school supplies and materials that students need for school, with the exception
of backpacks, will be provided for all students in
Pre-K – 12 by the Elmira City School District
for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Bus Assignments
Bussing information will be available by September 2, 2025 in SchoolTool.
Parents and guardians of ECSD students who ride the bus will be able to obtain
school bus information like bus number, bus stop location and pick-up/drop-off times
through SchoolTool's Parent Portal under the ‘User Defined’ tab.

Parent University is a tutorial-style platform that includes
'how-to' tutorials for parents/guardians of
students in the Elmira City School District.
Navigating a variety of digital apps, logins and systems can be overwhelming.
The goal of Parent University is to provide parents and families
easy step-by-step guidance on some of the most frequently used resources,
from accessing Parent Portal access, to tracking your student's bus, social and emotional support,
Schoology and more. Parent University offers a platform to educate and
empower families as partners, advocates, and lifelong educators in
