Code of Conduct

The Elmira City School District is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students, staff, and families. Our Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behavior, discipline procedures, and the rights and responsibilities of everyone in our school community.

What is the Code of Conduct?

The Code of Conduct is a district-wide document that:

* Promotes a safe and orderly school climate
* Outlines student and staff responsibilities
* Details disciplinary procedures and due process
* Reflects our commitment to equity and restorative practices

Annual Review Process

Each year, the Code of Conduct is reviewed in collaboration with families, students, staff, and community members. A public **Annual Review Meeting** is held to gather feedback and ensure the Code remains relevant, fair, and responsive to the needs of our school community. All are welcome to attend and participate.
