Role models come in every age and size.
Just before the holiday, select 9th grade student athletes in Mr. Reidy’s class at Broadway helped elementary students with a service in learning project. In partnership with our Trauma Informed Care Specialist, Mrs. Janowsky, student athletes visited elementary schools to work with students.
Students in 4th grade worked with our Express athletes to create holiday greetings to residents of the Chemung County Nursing Facility. The staff, on behalf of the residents, put together a ‘thank you’ video to express their gratitude.
