The world is but a canvas to your imagination.

Last week, three Elmira High School photography classes took walking trips in the area around the school. Two classes visited Miller's Pond, and one class walked to Seeley Creek.

Before heading out on their art excursion, students studied the National Geographic Explorers framework that focuses on attitudes of curiosity, adventure, responsibility and empowerment; the skills of observation, communication, collaboration, and problem solving; and knowledge areas of the human journey, the changing planet, and wildlife.

These student photographers were able to apply the skills and techniques they've learned throughout the semester to document the world around them.
