A job of a police officer is to save and protect the people. This week during National Police Week, we wish to thank all police officers across the state who make sure to keep the people safe. Especially, we want to recognize our Community Resource Officers in our schools who work to create positive and safe learning environments.
Our school resource officers serve as important bridges between youth, law enforcement, and our community. We are grateful for our partnership with the Chemung County Sheriff's Department for this important collaboration.
