NYS REGISTERED/LICENSED CENTER BASED PROGRAMS
The following is a list of NYS registered School Age Child Care Programs; Licensed Day Care Centers (that provide school age care) and remote learning sites currently operating in Chemung County. In addition, some home based NYS registered/licensed day care programs also offer services for school age children (please contact us for more information on available home based programs with openings for school age children – 607-734-3941). There is a fee for registered and licensed programs. Each program determines the fee.
1) Chemung Valley Early Care and Learning Day Care Center

The CVEL is a licensed through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services as a day care center. They provide programs for children 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
2) Children of Promise Day Care Center

Children of Promise is licensed through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services as a day care center. They provide programs for children 18 months through 12 years of age. * as of 10-6-20 -Center is in process of expanding to include school age and will take names and phone numbers for call backs when the program is approved*
3) Economic Opportunity Program – Center of Excellence

The EOP- Center of Excellence is registered through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services as a school age program. They provide programs for school age children through age 12.
4) Little Peeps Play Care

Little Peeps Play Care is licensed through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services as a day care center. They provide programs for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
5) Of Hope Day Care Center

REMOTE LEARNING SITES:
The following remote learning sites are not required to be registered or licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services as they are single purpose programs operating for the sole purpose of “remote learning” for school age children in align with school activities and the school calendar.
