The Code of Conduct sets expectations for students, parents, teachers, other staff, the Superintendent and the Board of Education in the areas of behavior and discipline. It also includes the student dress code and policy on use of electronic devices, unacceptable behaviors and their consequences, and procedures for students with disabilities. The weighted rank policy uses both course grade and its difficulty in determining students' class rank. Click here to see the policy.
The Passport to Graduation gives students in grades 8-12 the course and exam requirements for Regents, Regents with Advanced Designation and Regents with CTE Endorsement diplomas, as well as service learning hours. A checklist allows students to track their progress toward meeting these requirements.
The Passport also includes recommended activities for each year in high school, such as extracurricular activities, PSAT and SAT exams and college planning.
