Academic Quiz Team - The Academic Quiz Team competes in the 12 team Twin Tier Quiz League against regional schools from the New York State and Pennsylvania areas.

Anime Club - In this club  they watch and discuss anime.

Art Club - In the Art Club students work to create beautiful pieces of art that we are proud to display around the school.

Bible Club - The Bible Club meets once a week and discusses everyday issues with a Christian attitude.

Color Guard - The Color Guard is a group of skilled young woman that perform during football games half time shows and in holiday parades.  They work closely with the SHS Band.

FBLA -  provide additional opportunities for post-secondary students to develop vocational competencies for business and office occupations and business teacher education.

JV Show Choir and Show Choir -  These groups have students from the Festival Chorus and Concert Choir. They perform popular shows and music in concert.

Key Club - This club is a service organization for high school students. Key Club's aim is the development of initiative, leadership ability and good citizenship practices.

National Honor Society - Students with an 89.6 overall average for two years are eligible for NHS.  A student must also meet a community service component.

Advisor: Mrs. Wilber, English Teacher

Mock Trial - This is for students who want to learn about the procedures of trials and compete against other schools.

S.A.D.D.- Students in the organization work to combat the problems of any destructive decision.

SHS Yearbook Committee - A group of students who produce the SHS yearbook, The Edsonian.

Ski Club - The Ski Club is very popular among Southside's Ski Enthusiasts.  It takes the students to a ski resorts on an annual basis during the winter season.

Student Council - The Student Council is made up of representatives from each of the school's classes and clubs.  The Student Council is responsible for student life at Southside High School.

Jazz Band - This is the band of students that love music.

Literacy Magazine - It is for the students that love writing stories.

Tech Club - They do the lights and sounds for the plays, and for Assemblies.

Varsity Club - The Varsity club helps promote participation in sports at Southside High School.  To Qualify for membership, an athlete must have earned a letter in one of the varsity sports.

Yellow Ribbon - Students against suicide. Suicide Prevention Club, Helps To Bring The Awareness Of Suicide To Schools And Cities.
