The Parent Child Resource Center, located at Booth School, is open to all families, not just Elmira residents.
The PCRC offers the following services, all at no cost:
The center is separated into different learning areas appropriate for young children. Activities include reading, dress-up, puzzles and much more.
Books and magazines are available to address a wide variety of parenting issues - nutrition, discipline and crafts, to name a few.
Workshops are held regularly and cover a wide range of topics of concern to families. Parental input is key to determining workshop topics.
The PCRC opened in February 2000 as a community service provided by the Elmira City School District.
