Senior Student Athlete Standout, Dan Fedor, to Sign with University of Buffalo
On Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 3:45 p.m., we will recognize Elmira High School senior, Dan Fedor, as he signs his letter of intent to join the University of Buffalo sports program. This will be held at the Elmira High School Theatre.
Soccer Standout, Kendra Oldroyd, to Sign with Stoney Brook University

Board of Education Meeting Moved to January 17, 2018
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Board of Education meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2018 has been moved to Wednesday, January 17, 2018. The meeting will be held in the Ernie Davis Academy Community Room at 933 Hoffman Street in Elmira and will officially begin at 6:00 p.m. with an anticipated executive session; the public portion of the meeting will resume at 7:00 p.m.
Financial Literacy Event at Elmira High School
The Elmira High School will host a Financial Literacy Fair, open to the public, on Friday January 12 from 11:30 - 1:45 in the library. Students in the Personal Finance course, as part of the Academy of Finance program, are sponsoring the event. This event is free and open to students and adults and will focus on financial literacy concepts and strategies.
Express Robotics Club Takes Top Honors at the Catskills Bot Battle Vex Robotics Competition and Heads to the State Championship
Elmira High School’s students from the Express Robotics Club, VEX Robotics teams 14904A and 14904B, qualified for the Northern New York State Robotics Championships at the VEX Robotics Competition that took place in Fallsburg, NY this past weekend.
Dutch Educators Travel to Elmira to Learn about Community Schools
Educators from the Netherlands visited Elmira, NY on Tuesday October 16, 2017 to tour and learn about the Elmira City School District’s university-assisted community school program that benefits children and families.
