• Help students identify their future goals and concerns about reaching their goals (living, learning and earning) in the community.
  

• Assist in investigating programs or services that are available to help students develop skills or knowledge to prepare for adult life.

• Take advantage of parent/student and informational opportunities.

• Encourage students to engage in community experiences and have adult responsibilities.

• Assist students in advocating for themselves.

• Work with student's support team (teacher, counselor, etc.)
