Lunch Menus and School Meal Program
The Elmira City School District proposed budget became finalized on March 25, 2009. The good news for district residents is that there will be no tax levy increase and no staff will laid off. Non-instructional staff will, however, carry larger workloads and some staff positions will be eliminated through attrition. On May 19, 2009, the public will vote on this budget and elect three three-year term seats for the School Board. The proposed total budget for the Elmira City School District is $118,234,504.
