Congratulations to National Junior Honor Society New Inductees

Our school became affiliated with the National Junior Honor society during the 1999-2000 school year. The NJHS is a great opportunity for our students. Students can be inducted at the end of their 7th grade year. To get complete information about the NJHS please speak to Mrs. Webster.

The Purpose of the NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY as found

in the National Constitution:

1. To create ENTHUSIASM for SCHOLARSHIP

2. To STIMULATE a desire to render SERVICE*

3. To Promote LEADERSHIP

4. To develop CHARACTER

5. To Encourage Citizenship

in students of Secondary Schools**

*Service means community involvement, doing things for others, volunteering

**Secondary means grades 7-12.
